These photos I took are of blue birds who nest every year in my bird boxes. They return to the nests where they are born. Blue birds are friendly, inquisitive birds. An absolute delight. With building new houses the birds are not returning. In 1996 when I moved here I had 3 boxes and blue birds nesting up to 3 times a season. This last group of nesting blue birds are much tougher and aggressive than before and were able to sucessively next in 2006, after many years no blue birds.
