I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1978. From 1980-4 I was an artist in residence at the Fells Point City Pier in Baltimore Maryland. I will always be grateful to the MaryLand Arts Council and to Linda Vlassak who saw something in me and gave me the opportunity to learn how to run a community based clay program. I learned how to promote my classes and develop my work. In 1989 I recieved an MFA from Montana State University.

I started Art for Kids Ages 4-80 in the Grain Bins in 1994 by 1998 I had to stop for health reasons. I have had many different jobs from washing dishes to working with developmentally disabled adults. I have continued to do my art for it gives me great joy. My art is my story. I have shown my work both regionally and nationally. Mostly, I sell my work out of my studio gallery. This online art gallery will show about 30 years worth of my work . Henderson Fine Art online gallery is built in conjunction with the Montana's Cultural Treasures and is for selling my work.
