These photos I took are of blue birds who nest every year in my bird boxes. They return to nests where they are born. Blue birds are friendly, inquisitive birds. An absolute delight. With all the building of new houses the birds are not returning. In 1996 when I moved here I had 3 boxes and blue birds nesting up to 3 times a season.
In 2009 the blue birds came back in abundance!
